We are delighted to announce Alex O’Neill is joining the Kidkast teachers team.

Alex is a member of XOD, The Legion and Seventh Empire. He specialises in Krump, Hip-Hop and Choreography and has taught throughout Ireland. He started his professional training in The College Of Dance at the age of 15 and his dance career was launched when he was selected as one of 8 Hip-Hop dancers for a dance crew for a RTE T.V. show called “Supercrew”. He has represented Ireland at the World Hip-Hop Dance Championships in Las Vegas. He was a Hip-Hop guest soloist in Monica Loughman’s annual production of “The Nutcracker”. He has featured in movies to include Mrs Browns boys Da Movie and the Bollywood smash hit movie Ek Tha Tiger. He has done feature work with Red bull, RTE and Apple. He has also worked with companies such as Heineken, Ryanair, Facebook, Google, Vodafone and Orchard Thieves. He was a dancer on the Michael Jackson “Man In The Mirror” Tribute tour (2014-2016) He has performed in Centenary live in Bord Gais aired on RTE 1 and the Laochra Show Croke Park which was aired on TG4. He has performed annually alongside his XOD team as the main act for Young Social Innovators. He performed in the production of The Gaiety Theatre Pantos “Robin Hood and His Merry Men.”(2016) and “Rapunzel.” (2017). He has been a part of the XOD team which has won the Industry Event Awards in 2016 and 2017. Last year he performed at Electric Picnic as well as performing in the 3 Arena as a main act for The Junk Kouture Show and performed in the 3 Arena once again alongside Rudimental which was choreographed by international choreography Kyle Hanagami. When Alex isn’t on stage he judges competitions such as The Leinster Hip-Hop Masters as well as The National Dance Intervarsities. Alex also has a passion for making short dance films for his YouTube channel. The videos on his channel have been seen in over 190 countries.
