KIDKAST ST PATRICKS DAY PARADE – THURSDAY 17TH

KIDKAST ST PATRICKS DAY PARADE – THURSDAY 17TH

STUDENT SAFETY COMES FIRST

·       MEETING AT WILLIAM ST., BESIDE THE BARBICAN (Laurence’s Centre) AT 11AM

·       Report to Tracey on arrival and make sure each student is signed in

·       The parade begins at 12 pm. The route continues down Palace Street, down Laurence’s Street, across West Street, down Dominic’s Street where the quiet zone, the sensory area will be located, along Wellington Quay, lower Shop Steet, and concluding on the North Quay.

·       The parade takes between 1 to 1.5 hours to conclude. Please make sure toilet runs have been done before children arrive. THERE ARE NO TOILET FACILITIES ON THE PARADE ROUTE.

·       The collection point is on the North Quays just beyond the Constitution Hill junction on the Quays and this is the only collection point. Please do not make any other arrangements for collection.

·       Please make sure you let Tracey know you are collecting your child and they are ticked off the list. It is busy and we ask you to be patient in ensuring your child is ticked off the list.

·       Please do not make any other arrangement for collection as we have a large group to look after, and safety comes first.

Costumes:

Flower Children have been allocated colours to match their flowers.  They can wear black leggings or tracksuit bottoms with bright coloured tops/hats.

All others wear blue, the funkier the better.

Celtic Face paint would be great (if you can), please see the pictures below for face paint ideas / inspiration.

If you are unsure, please ask Tracey. Dress warm underneath!

Please arrive fully dressed for the parade

Important note: Remember check-in with Tracey and make sure you check out with Tracey… and have fun!
