Sadly yesterday was Jessie’s last day with Kidkast. Jessie has been teaching Hip Hop at Kidkast for the last 4 years and has been a hugely valued member of the Kidkast team and family. Having taken Damage Crew to Champion level she could not leave on a higher note. Jessie qualified as a psychologist last year and has found that her new job and teaching was taking too much of a toll on her. She sadly has decided to stop teaching in the pursuit of her career. She promises she will be back and she is always welcome to come...

At Kidkast we presume students roll from term to term unless we are told otherwise. Many of our classes are now full with waiting lists, so if anyone decides to take a break from classes in term 3 we would appreciate if you would let us know.

We are delighted to announce Alex O’Neill is joining the Kidkast teachers team. Alex is a member of XOD, The Legion and Seventh Empire. He specialises in Krump, Hip-Hop and Choreography and has taught throughout Ireland. He started his professional training in The College Of Dance at the age of 15 and his dance career was launched when he was selected as one of 8 Hip-Hop dancers for a dance crew for a RTE T.V. show called “Supercrew”. Today is the 10th and final week of term 2. Term 3 commences from Saturday 17th February. Term 3 fees are now due. Mid term class schedule for next week is as follows. ONLY Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday classes are not in. Monday and Saturday classes are running as normal. The Annual Collon Show will take place in the Droichead Arts Centre on Thursday the 22nd of February. Tickets will be on sale from Wednesday 31st of January and cost €12 each or a family ticket, 2 adults and 2 children, will cost €40. Students are working extremely hard and we are very much looking forward to this year’s production. Our School photographer, Stephen, is booked to take photos on the night.
