Kidkast were invited to perform our Magdalene Laundries piece at Perform Ireland which is the biggest Performing Arts Festival to take place in Ireland. We are honoured to perform on the mainstage tomorrow at 1pm and are very much looking forward to it. We wish Alva and all those involved at #performireland @performireland the very best of luck. Jake Reid Becomes Champion Dancer

We just received confirmation from Spectrum Dance Events that Kidkast’s Jake Reid has moved to Champion Dancer status. Jake is an extremely enthusiastic and talented Hip Hop and Breakdance dancer who works extremely hard and is a role model for the other students. We are very proud and delighted for Jake to take this coveted accolade today, well done Jake.

Our annual Collon showcase is Sunday 24th February at the Droichead Arts Centre and tickets are on sale now. All students will take part and this is always a fun family show, showcasing our very talented Collon students. Circus Gerbola visits Drogheda this week and Kidkast have been asked to perform in the Circus Ring. Our students who performed The Greatest Showman in last years end of year show were chosen. Huge well done to all our crews for a great performance last Sunday at I Am Hip Hop, everyone danced so well.  First places for Phoenix and Jake, Chris and Alan who was awarded Judges Choice Trophy and Jake Overall Starter winner and so many more trophies for our cabinet. There will be no crew rehearsal tonight (7th Feb) or next Thursday (14th Feb) as we have been asked to perform at Circus Gerbola next week and we need to rehearse for this.

This is week 10 in the second term and the final week. Term 3 commences from Monday 11th of February. All term 2 fees should be paid in full by the end of this week and term 3 fees are now due. Payment can be made in the studios or at classes at Teach Raithneach this week and from Monday the 11th term 3 fees can be paid online through our parents portal for both Drogheda and Collon students.
