Today starts week 10 of term 1 and is the last week of the current term. Term 2 commences from Monday 19th of November and term 2 fees are now due. We are delighted at Kidkast for Chris who who took the coveted Peoples Choice Solo Dancer 2018 award at the All Ireland Dance Awards in the Carlton Hotel Dublin last night. Chris is an inspiration and a hugely talented dancer with an enormous future ahead of him. During the Summer Britain’s Got Talent scouts contacted us asking for Chris to audition and he is a hugely respected dancer within Kidkast and both nationally and internationally. Big congratulations to Chris for this recognition and accolade.
We are re-instating our WhatsApp messaging service as there is a new feature only allowing an administrator to post to a group. What this means is that we can post updates to the groups and the members are not able to respond or reply thus reducing the traffic on the various groups. You will still be able to message us, however this will be a private message to us and not through the group. We currently use email, Facebook and news page on our website to deliver school news. Huge congratulations to Jenny, Chris and Jake who knocked it out of the park this weekend in Trabolgan at the All Ireland Hip Hop Championships. Chris swept the boards taking 1st pace in under 14 Champion Solos, 1st in under 16 Breakdance and 1st in under 16 Poppin. Jake came 2nd in Under 16 Breakdance and 2nd in Under 16 Poppin. To launch our new Hip Hop class with Sophie Kavanagh on Saturdays 5-6pm for the month of October classes will be free with no obligation for new students ages 13 years plus. Hip Hop crew training resumes from tomorrow Thursday 20th September and are now open to new members. Training starts tomorrow (Thursday) and continues every Thursday. Ages 12 and under 6-7.30 and ages 13+ 7.30-9. Open to all students who take dance classes this is a great opportunity to be part of our competitive hip hop teams. Crews cost €5 pay as you go.
