We are so delighted and excited to announce that Kidkast classes will resume, and our studios will reopen from Monday 20th September.  We can’t express how happy we are to have the Kidkast family back, together, and indoors. The safety and health of our staff, students and their families has been our priority over the past 18 months. Kidkast has been running in person classes in our Drogheda studios during June in keeping with current guidelines. It has been so good to see all the happy faces over the last few weeks. In continuing with our re-opening, Phase 2 sees three weeks of Summer Camps during July, which are now open for booking. From Tuesday 8th of June our indoor classes at Old Abbey Dance Studios will resume, in keeping with current government guidelines. It has been a long wait and we have a busy summer planned. We are looking forward to seeing everyone over the coming weeks. In June Our “on the lane” classes will continue and will run outside, throughout the month, weather permitting, and with a mix of indoor training. Last week’s announcement on the re-opening of dance classes was short lived. It would seem the politicians clamber to pat each other on the back was premature as Catherine Martin TD who is the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media clarified on Friday evening that dance classes per se were not allowed in level 3. Currently there are no dance, drama singing, musical theatre classes or indoor gatherings allowed. We have added a new Kidkast messaging facility today. It will allow for a Kidkast icon to locate on the home screen of your phone, tablet, or pc. We have included a link below and when activated will ask you to add it to your home screen, just follow the instructions. We are so excited to announce the details of our virtual multi-genre competition on Sunday 29th November 2020 ! It will be a day filled with excitement, awards, and most importantly a moment for our students to shine. This competition is in-house and only open to Kidkast students and their families and there is no charge to enter. Students can enter in more than one category if they wish but no more than one entry per category. Each entry should be no longer than two minutes.
