We are really excited to announce a new collaboration with Kidkast and Dance Associates who are based in Newry. Dance Associates is owned and run by our contemporary teacher Nina Dibb and like Kidkast, Nina has been running live classes via Zoom during the closure. Nina also runs pre-recorded classes from industry professionals. Kidkast students are welcome to partake in any of the online zoom and pre-recorded classes that Dance Associates host and in turn students of Dance Associates are welcome to take part in the online zoom classes hosted by Kidkast. We will continue not to charge for our classes and Nina has kindly agreed to allow our students take part in her classes without charge during the Covid 19...
We provided a limited number of online classes this week and it was really great to see everyone and we had a lot of fun. The overwhelming response has been positive and we will continue to provide a skeleton schedule of classes while the studios are shut, as long as the students want them. Please be aware that we have a very limited on teacher availability and it is a challenging platform to teach on, so we will provide as broad a range of classes and for as broad a range of students ages that our resources allow. We hope that everyone is staying safe and we are missing you all very much. We have been posting to our YouTube channel over the last couple of weeks and will continue to do so. We hope that the short videos will help. Today we will add to this with online classes for our students. We will use Zoom to do this and this platform is free to use. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak and as directed by the Government Kidkast will be closed in both Drogheda and Collon until March 29th. All classes missed over the next couple of weeks will be made up and we hope that everyone stays safe.

This is a huge event in the Kidkast calendar, and we are very much looking forward to entering again this year in the Drogheda St Patrick’s Day Parade 2020. Jennifer, as always, has been busy organising our entry and taking part is free and open to all Kidkast students age 7 years and over from both our Collon and Drogheda Schools. We are very excited for our Show the Wizard of Odd tomorrow in the Barbican Theatre. Reminder of rehearsal times., ages 4-5 & 6-7 from 2-3pm, all other classes 2-4pm. We ask that all students return to the theatre at 4.45pm sharp for showtime. Show commences at 5.30pm and doors for the public will open at 5pm, the duration is approximately 1.5 hours with interval.
